Memo

"For sale:baby shoes, never worn."- a famous 6-word story attributed to Ernest Hemingway

If any of you have never heard of my Uncle Roy and his Monday Morning Memo you are missing out. I want to say that his memo this Monday was “spot on” in his message about our dire economic circumstance. I love to read the thought process of intelligent people. Anyone who has never seen my Uncle’s website here is the link: http://www.mondaymorningmemo.com/ Please feel free to visit and sign up for his Monday Morning Memo that will enlighten you to his wonderful world of advertising and theories of “life”. Today’s message was titled Please Don’t Throw Me in the Briar Patch. I LOVED his message. One of the things I am proud of is the fact that I come from an EXCEPTIONAL family. Starting, with my own father Daniel Denny and his family, who built houses in my home town of Owasso. I am also proud of my Grandma and Grandpa Compton. They began a legacy of friendship and faith many years ago, and in the past few weeks it shows how many people are touched by their friendship. Their friends have shown tremendous love and support for my grandpa, Paul Compton. My Grandpa has fallen under health problems that doctors have not yet pinpointed to a definite diagnosis. All I know is he is a testament that there are earthen angels that walk amongst us. (He is truly an angel in disguise, but that is between you and me.)
